Remedial referral fee. If remedial work is needed, we can introduce a registered contractor who pays us a referral fee of 12.5% of the job value. We tell you the amount before you accept, the price you pay is the same, and you are free to use any registered contractor. The fee never influences how an engineer codes a defect.
